Virtually tour DuPont’s innovation lab with AR
DuPont was preparing to open an Innovation Center in Silicon Valley, California that would be home to several high-tech engineering labs. The Innovation Center would host customers, partners, and collaborating scientists, providing a convenient way to foster collaboration on cutting-edge applications for DuPont materials.
To help guests get better acquainted with the Innovation Center and its various labs, DuPont approached CitrusBits to build an augmented reality (AR) experience to allow guests — both in-person and virtual — to explore the labs while mitigating confidentiality concerns. Importantly, the AR experience needed to generate an immediate “wow factor” that epitomized the myriad of innovative capabilities within the labs.
Zoetis: Creating healthtech product demos using AR
The global leader in animal health and medicine, Zoetis is the world’s largest producer of medicine and vaccines for animals and livestock.
Several of Zoetis’ animal health diagnosis products — bench-top blood and chemistry analyzers, for example — are too bulky and heavy for sales reps to bring to customers’ offices and trade shows for sales demos. This presents a significant business challenge, as many customers simply are not willing to purchase such significant machinery sight-unseen.
To address this, Zoetis partnered with CitrusBits to create three augmented reality experiences that would allow potential clients to virtually demo each product as if the products were physically right in front of them.
