The Challenge
Soul Link is a meditation app designed to enhance well-being through a unique combination of sound healing, immersive visuals, and focus-enhancing frequency waves. Developed by Supernal World Creations, the app offers users a customizable meditation experience aimed at reducing stress, improving focus, and promoting overall mental and emotional health.
Soul Link wanted to elevate the user experience by expanding into the latest advancements in augmented reality and spatial audio available with Apple Vision Pro. CitrusBits was chosen as a partner to bring this vision to life. The goal of this project was to develop an immersive meditation experience that takes full advantage of Vision Pro’s advanced features. By leveraging these capabilities, we aimed to offer users a truly transformative journey in mindfulness.
The Process
CitrusBits approached the project with a user-first mindset, collaborating closely with Soul Link to understand their brand, target audience, and mindfulness philosophy. Harnessing Vision Pro’s unique features, including spatial computing, high-definition visuals, and immersive audio, our team set out to create an unparalleled meditation experience.
Immersive Environmental Design: To bring a sense of tranquility to the app, CitrusBits transformed the original static environments of the mobile app into interactive, immersive spaces. Users can select from various landscapes, like serene mountains or calm oceans, each crafted to feel lifelike, promoting relaxation and focus.
Spatial Audio Integration: By integrating Vision Pro’s spatial audio technology, CitrusBits elevated the app’s soundscapes. Meditation sessions feature soothing sounds that surround the user and change naturally with their orientation, enhancing the sense of presence and allowing users to lose themselves in the experience.
Gesture-based Interactions: To ensure a smooth and focused experience, CitrusBits implemented intuitive, gesture-based interactions. With simple hand gestures, eye tracking, and voice commands, users can effortlessly navigate and control their meditation sessions, maintaining focus without distraction.
Personalized Session Management: CitrusBits expanded the personalized experience Soul Link users already enjoyed by enabling more customization options. Users can curate their meditation sessions by setting goals, selecting themes, and tracking progress, with the ability to revisit favorite sessions as they deepen their mindfulness practices.
The Result
Soul Link’s Vision Pro meditation app launched successfully, receiving positive feedback for its transportive environments and immersive, calming experience.
