IntelliMDM is a mobile device management solution provided by CitrusBits. This Privacy Policy explains how the IntelliMDM device management agent collects, uses, and protects information on enrolled devices.

1. Scope

IntelliMDM is intended for corporate-owned devices that are enrolled and managed by an organization. Devices are enrolled with the organization’s authorization and consent. The organization is responsible for informing its authorized users that the device is managed and for obtaining any consent required by applicable law.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the features enabled by the managing organization, the IntelliMDM agent may collect:
  • Device identifiers, including device ID, serial number, model, manufacturer, operating system, and enrollment status.
  • Device location, only when location services and location collection are enabled by the organization and permitted on the device.
  • App inventory, including the names, versions, and installation status of applications installed on the device.
  • Device and usage data, including device status, security settings, compliance information, network information, storage status, and management activity.
IntelliMDM is not intended to collect personal communications, passwords, photos, contacts, or the contents of personal files unless a specific feature is expressly enabled and disclosed by the managing organization.

3. How Information Is Used

We use collected information to:
  • Enroll, identify, configure, and manage corporate-owned devices.
  • Install or remove authorized applications and settings.
  • Monitor device security, health, and compliance.
  • Locate, lock, or erase managed devices when authorized by the organization.
  • Troubleshoot problems and improve the reliability and security of IntelliMDM.
  • Meet the organization’s security, operational, and legal requirements.

4. Information Sharing

Information collected through IntelliMDM may be accessible to authorized administrators of the organization that owns or manages the device. We do not sell collected information. Information may be shared with service providers that support the operation, hosting, security, or maintenance of IntelliMDM, or when disclosure is required by law.

5. Data Retention and Security

Information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide device management services, meet the managing organization’s requirements, or comply with legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect collected information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

6. Device Management and User Choices

Because enrolled devices are corporate-owned and managed with organizational consent, certain collection and management functions may be controlled by the organization rather than the individual device user. Questions about device monitoring, enabled features, or requests relating to collected information should first be directed to the organization’s device administrator.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
